Kitsap Harbor Festival will be celebrated in Bremerton and Port Orchard starting this Saturday the 28th and running through Memorial Day.
There are tons of events happening on both sides of the harbor. The highlights: The Murder Mystery Event (Always very entertaining), Seagull Calling Contest, Bremerton Lions Pancake Breakfast (Yum!), and the Car Cruz.
The foot ferry will operate every 30 minutes during the festival so it will be easy to access all the events.

Bremerton will be celebrating Armed Forces Day with a parade on Saturday at 10 am. The route will meander through downtown. This parade is the largest and longest running Armed Force Day parade in the country.

Poulsbo will be hosting it's annual Viking Fest this weekend. The festivities begin on Friday at 4 pm with the opening ceremony. The parade will be on Saturday at 2 pm and will wind through downtown. Easter Egg Hunt Guide in Kitsap County
Here is a quick run down of the local Easter egg hunts courtesy of the Kitsap Sun. Let me know if there are others I can add to the list!
BREMERTON
Elks Lodge Easter Egg HuntOn Sunday, the Elks will be hosting their annual Easter egg hunt for community children. Located at 4131 Pine Road Northeast, 6000 Eggs, real and plastic, will be hidden. Special baskets will also be presented. Children will be divided into age groups. Starts at 1:30 pm.
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND
Puppets and egg hunt at museumCelebrate the Easter season at the Kids Discovery Museum on Bainbridge Island with a special all-day Easter egg hunt from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be an appearance by Peter Rabbit and friends — puppets from the Bainbridge Performing Arts' production of "The Adventures of Peter Rabbit." Then, children may try their own hand at puppetry.
The event is free with admission or membership. The museum will be closed Sunday in observance of the holiday.

BELFAIR
40,000 eggs available for hunting at Theler CenterThe North Mason Rotary teams with the Theler Center to hold an Easter egg hunt on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The hunt will be held "on the green" on the water side of the Theler Community Center, across the street from Belfair Elementary. The Easter bunny will be there as children hunt for the 40,000 eggs stuffed with candy or prize tickets by the Boys and Girls Club.
The Theler Center is at 22871 Highway 3 in Belfair.
POULSBO
Churches plan hunt for children up to sixth gradeA Poulsbo Community Easter egg hunt is set for 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday at West Sound Community Church, 2356 Rude Road in Poulsbo. There will be candy, prizes, baskets and fun. The hunt all ages of children, from babies who are walking to those in the sixth grade.

Cornerstone Alliance Church, 15350 Cox Ave. NW in Poulsbo, will hold an Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church. There will be a small carnival with games, crafts, storytelling and treats. This event is free and open to families with children as old as the sixth grade.

Seventeenth annual hunt at Raab Park
Poulsbo Parks and Recreation will host the 17th Annual Easter Candy Hunt at Raab Park in Poulsbo on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
Children ages 1-11 will be divided by age groups and gather candy and eggs. They can exchange their eggs for prizes. The event is free and sponsored by the Poulsbo Lions Club and the Poulsbo-NK Rotary Club.

SOUTH KITSAP
Hunt planned at South Kitsap Regional ParkSouth Kitsap will sponsor its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday at noon at South Kitsap Regional Park. Children must be 10 and under and accompanied by an adult.
The egg hunt will occur rain or shine with eggs given out rather than hunted in the event of a real downpour. Sign-ups are set for 11 a.m. Rides on the Kitsap Live Steamers Children's Train will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be four hunt areas and children will be divided into age groups. Each child will receive a certificate for a prize and may pick it up between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The Easter Bunny and Fathoms of Fun royalty will greet the children during the event with a candy distribution. There will be bins for recycling, although the children may take their eggs if they wish.

I don't know about you but my two most favorite things in this world are a good cheese matched with a quality wine. Lucky for me (and everyone else who likes to indulge) the Olympic Peninsula Wineries are putting on their third annual Northwest Wine & Cheese Tour this weekend, April 16th and 17th.
